Coming soon to Cologne, the Cologne Fashion Days 2015 with over 40+ fashion designers and this time over 4 days! From 04.12. – 06.12.2015 at the Mercedes-Benz Center Cologne (Mercedes-Allee 1, 50825 Cologne). Fashion, fashion, trends, all this will be the topic at the “Cologne Fashion Week”. With talks, experts from the industry, fashion shows and live shoots by the model agency CM Models. Back in 2014 I visited the first Cologne Fashion Days in Cologne Mülheim and reported about it. Two nice days in the middle of fashion and design. This year everything will be a little bigger: more fair space, more days, more designers! Seeing even more CFD this year makes me very happy, because it was great!
When it comes to fashion highlights in Cologne, since last year there is only one name in the industry! The Cologne Fashion Days, CFD for short. The small “Fashion Week” is now in its second year and bigger than ever before. Spread over three or four days of the fair, visitors will find various events, from fashion shows to live shoots and model castings. Thursday, 4.12. – The first Mercedes Benz Fashion Awards + Fashion Show
Already on Thursday evening a special highlight takes place in the city, the first Mercedes-Benz Fashion Awards! Here the best up-and-coming designers of the fashion world will be honored at a glamorous evening.
Friday, 5.12. – Fashion fair, fashion show and live shooting
On Friday, the second day of the CFD event, the model agency CM Models will be on site as a partner. With an elaborate shooting set, individual, special collection pieces of the designers will be photographed live. With strong models of the agency and one of the best fashion photographers, Oliver Rudolf and Julian Singer. Directly on the main stage sets will be shot with the audience – with agency models, different designer collections and ambience. Fashion pieces can be tried on and bought at the designers’ stands. A real live experience! In the evening, all guests can look forward to the second, big fashion show of the CFD 2015.
Saturday, 6.12. – Fashion fair, catwalk and small talk
On Saturday, just like on Friday, there will be a choreographed fashion show on the evening of the event. With many models and exhibiting designers of the fashion fair. Previously, the model agency scouts, in addition to the various fashion highlight, on site. Designers present their creations and music fills the room. A perfect place for small talk! Visitors can also listen to the business talks in December, with exciting topics about the fashion industry.

Sunday, 7.12. – The grand finale of the Cologne Fashion Days
Sunday is the highlight of this year’s Cologne Fashion Days. The last chance to try on your favorite piece! There will be a live casting for models on the main stage. See how tough the selection process is. Followed by a business talk, there will be the final catwalk of the 10 best casting participants at 3 pm. In addition, many other small and large highlights await all visitors.

The Cologne Fashion Days 2015 – Fashion & Highlights
Already last year the Cologne Fashion Days in Cologne were something very special. Last year you could still experience the different designers and exhibitors on two days at the fashion fair. Over ten designers exhibited at the first CFD. This year there will already be over 30. The Fashion Days will be spread over four days, including the first Mercedes-Benz Fashion Awards.
Last year, they didn’t meet at the Mercedes Benz Cente, but at the Hafengelände Mülheim. A very special location, somewhat reminiscent of a tranquil place in Berlin Mitte. In Dock one, a huge warehouse, the various young and up-and-coming designers presented their collections to the public. Of course you could also shop during the Fashion Days. Besides the designers there were also fashion shows with models, expert talks, DJs and the cocktails went like hot cakes – that’s how a fashion event has to be.
Because things went so well last year, a lot will happen in 2015, even more.

From 4.12. to 6.12.2015 you can always enter the Cologne fashion fair free of charge as a visitor! Admission is free for all visitors, every day. The important days, are all on the weekend. From Friday to Sunday, the halls of the CFD are open. Various fashion designers are exhibiting at this year’s fair, including not only Cologne designers, but also Berlin and international designers. The newcomers of the fashion world present their collections!

The small exhibition areas were filled with hats, dresses but also fancy shoes álla Lady Gaga. The clean white furnishing in Dock.One directed the focus exactly right: on the collections.
