Civil Code – The Civil Code is the central and therefore most important source of civil law. It comprises five books which consist of a general part, the law of obligations, the law of property, the family law and the law of succession. Accordingly, almost all areas of civil life are covered in the civil code and recorded in relatively few regulations.
