Wallet – Often on my blog I also write about Finance, wealth building, and newer financial trends like cryptocurrency, as well as NFTs (digital art). The term “Wallet” has come up more frequently, and so I wanted to write this small extra page for a quick explanation.
“Fast money with cryptocurrencies,” the world isn’t that simple! Nevertheless, with the right trading strategies, returns can be achieved with cryptocurrencies, similar to stocks, but with higher risk (no intrinsic value). But how does crypto trading work? Are there differences in trading and risk? Stocks are more speculative than ETFs, cryptocurrencies are more speculative than stock trading. Safer wealth building therefore means investing in ETFs or stocks. Speculation means higher risk, but also potentially higher profits. What is more important to you, you as a trader have to decide. NFT stands for “digital art”. To give digital objects a documented history, NFTs use blockchain technology. It documents all transactions, from the moment of publication. This makes digital objects assessable for the first time, just like physical art.
As with physical art, it is mainly about the artist behind the projects. The better you know the subject, the more you can get an overview of the market with its millions of works. Sometimes individual collections contain 1,000 or 10,000 digital images or content pieces.
