A legendary designer apartment goes under the hammer

A collaboration with Sotheby’s turned the auction of this prestigious apartment into a spectacular event that interested parties around the world were able to witness live – you too, I have both parts of the auction for you below. The auction offered a rare glimpse into the world of high-end real estate auctions, a combination of excitement, elegance and financial potency.

The starting bid: 5.3 million euros for exclusive living space

The 260 square meter apartment, located in one of the most sought-after locations in Paris, started with a bid of 5.3 million euros. The impressive property, which sits enthroned with the Seine at its feet, not only embodies a piece of fashion history, but also the high value associated with such an address.

Small note, with my modeling agency I was allowed to work with the team in Paris in Karl’s last year. RIP! Now back to the auction.

Sales proceeds that exceeded all expectations

At the end of the exciting bidding war, the proceeds from the sale amounted to ten million euros – an amount that far exceeded initial expectations. This sale is a clear sign of the power of the Lagerfeld name and its influence on the value of a property.
