The most important tip at the beginning is, don’t pay money! Serious model agencies don’t want any money from you. If you meet an agency that tells you that they will take over your management for a fee of a few hundred euros a year (advance payment), be careful! Serious agencies only work on commission. In Germany this is usually 20%.
